Criminal Justice Research Study:

Assessing the "Stickiness" of the

Criminal Justice System

Purpose of the project

The criminal justice system (CJS) is "sticky." We think that sometimes people get stuck in the criminal justice system and that sometimes it is because of the CJS itself. We want to find out how some individuals get stuck and why others become unstuck. Are the requirements for probation or diversion too hard to meet? Do friends and family help or hinder your involvement with the CJS? We want to learn about the criminal justice experiences from people who are directly affected by it.

Are you 18 years or older?

Have you been convicted of a felony in Florida at least once since 2011 and have not been continuously incarcerated since then?
